Nonsi has over 10 years’ experience working across operations in both the public and private sectors, with a strong focus on operational strategy, systems thinking, and creating environments where people and processes work well together. She now specialises in tech and project-led environments, supporting founders and cross-functional teams to move from ideas to execution with clarity and structure.

"

The last few years have been about becoming more grounded in who I am and how I work. I care deeply about people, and I’ve found I do my best work in more relational environments rather than transactional ones, shaped by my strong sense of ‘ubuntu’ – something I really value about the culture at FiftyEight. Having grown up in Africa and later moving to the UK as a teen, I’m aware of how complex social issues can sometimes be viewed through a purely external lens, often missing nuance. I’m passionate about a more culturally curious approach, where we first seek to understand the social norms and lived experiences – and challenge our assumptions, before considering interventions.
