Through community education, employer engagement, and innovative safety tools, these hazards can be reduced in ways that respect the cultural norms that involve children in vocational activities.
Key recommendations include partnering with teachers and media for awareness, equipping employers with compliance resources, and developing affordable mechanized alternatives to reduce physical strain. Outcomes can be mutually beneficial to children, families, the government, and businesses by improving safety, supporting regulation, and ensuring long-term health and productivity without fully removing children from work contexts.
